Hotel Faxe Schwarzwälder Hof Waldulm
The Black Forest farm Waldulm, located in the village center of Waldulm.
Directly behind the house is a garden and a large meadow with poplars, fruit trees and firs. There is plenty of room here for romping and frolicking, dreaming and relaxing.
You can sit under shady trees to take a nap or pamper yourself on the house terrace. From the terrace, the view extends to the southeast over the gently rolling vineyards to the dark hills of the Black Forest.
The garden is adjacent to the vineyards and the spa gardens Waldulms. Here begins the fruit trail, which leads past the village Waldulm to Kappelrodeck.
Hospitality and child-friendliness are a tradition, as guests have been spoiled here since the last century.
The Black Forest farm Waldulm has a rustic bowling alley and of course a large parking lot directly at the house.
In a separate guest house, which was built in 1978 to the main house, there are the guest rooms.
Through the spatial separation from the dining room, the guest can sleep peacefully, even if in the dining room is still celebrated.
Each of the spacious rooms has its own balcony and is equipped with shower and toilet as well as Internet / telephone and satellite TV. The view of vineyards and orchards is wonderful. For families with children we also have 3-bed rooms as well as extra beds or cots available.

Alsace, Switzerland and Lake Constance
By car you can reach in about half an hour the nearby Alsatian metropolis Strasbourg. Even without French language skills you can experience there French flair. About two hours by car is Lake Constance with the island of Mainau and Switzerland.
Also because of the higher price level of the French and Swiss gastronomy, the excursion base Schwarzwälder Hof Waldulm is a good choice.

Achervallay and Waldulm
"Brightly colored orchards, sun-drenched vines on rolling hills in front of the silhouette of dark fir heights", is how the surroundings of Waldulm, the Achertal, can be aptly described.

Constantly changing, fantastic views to the Hornisgrinde, the highest peak of the northern Black Forest, can also be experienced on a walk along the Rotweinwanderweg or a hike along the approximately 100 kilometer long "Ortenau Wine Trail", which often runs parallel to the "Baden Wine Route" ,
Also interesting is a winery or distillery tour with wine or
Sparkling wine tasting or tasting of high percentage spirits; an unforgotten experience! Wine festivals, concerts and culture offer more variety.
More Ortenau The "Baden Wine Route", which winds for 160 kilometers between the Black Forest foothills and the Rhine plain from the world bath Baden-Baden through the Ortenau on Offenburg and on to Ettenheim, runs directly in front of the Black Forest farm Waldulm.
It is only a stone's throw from Waldulm to Baden's Black Forest town of Oberkirch, whose dreamy, partly car-free, old town squares have been carefully restored. Hans Jakob Christoph von Grimmelshausen, the author of "Simplicissimus", lived here as a host. A literary memorial in the Oberkirch Heimatmuseum commemorates the great German poet of the Middle Ages.
Interesting impressions are also offered by the listed flower and wine village Sasbachwalden, located on a western slope at the foot of the Hornisgrinde. A village as if from a picture book: brightly plastered half-timbered houses, balconies and lattice windows with overflowing floral compositions of geraniums, petunias and fuchsias, spotless streets and little streets.
